The VT 1150 features a maximum swing of 53", a large 48" table and a 75-hp motor. The company says the lathe will turn any material and it has a maximum turning capacity of 45". Maximum turning length is 37". The lathe features a standard 12-position turret. A mill-drill option is also available.
The VT 1150 is part of a series of vertical turning lathes that include (from smallest to largest): the VT 350, the VT 450 and the VT 550.
All of the company’s lathes use Fanuc electronics and motors.
