Suited for toolrooms and prototype shops involved in medical manufacturing, the Hurco VMX30 VMC features a control that supports both NC and shopfloor programming. With a small footprint to accommodate the demands of shops that need high output but have limited space, the machine has X, Y and Z axes travels of 30" × 20" × 24". It can be equipped with optional rotary tables for users requiring fourth-axis capability. A 10,000-rpm spindle comes standard, and a 15,000-rpm spindle is available as an option. The 40" × 20" table can accommodate workpieces weighing as much as 3,000 lbs.Â
