The exhibit will feature the new Walter Xtra∙tec XT M5130 family of milling cutters and the Walter Cut DX grooving system, which Walter says provides a positive locking system and reduces indexing time by 70 percent.
In addition, Walter will showcase the Tiger·tec Gold WSP45G PVD cutting material for milling and drilling difficult-to-machine stainless steels, high-temperature alloys and steels. Also featured will be Walter’s expansion to its range of solid carbide end mills, including new MD838 and MD839 circle segment cutters for finishing, as well as MD377 tools for titanium roughing to semi-finishing, which Walter claims have high metal removal rates.
Further, the company will present its range of Titex DC160 solid carbide drills for deep hole drilling up to 30 × DC without pecking in nearly all material groups. The exhibit will also demonstrate the Walter Online catalog and its tool-specific search capabilities.
