Featuring ultra-high pressure (UHP) waterjet technology, Flow’s versatile Mach series machines are designed for manufacturers of all sizes and budgets, the company says. The line combines software upgrades, pressures rated to 94,000 psi, 3D Dynamic Waterjet cutting advancements and long-life intensifier and direct-drive pumps. Three product lines comprise the series: the Mach 4, Mach 3 and Mach 2.
The Mach 4 series is designed to cut both flat material and 3D material. The machines are said to enable manufacturers to cut faster, reduce costs and increase production. Standard features include the HyperJet 94i 94,000-psi intensifier pump; Dynamic XD for bevel and 3D cutting of complex flat and non-flat parts; and FlowXpert software, which utilizes SmartStream technology to optimize cutting speeds based on various user-defined parameters.
The Mach 3 line features a UHP pump, intelligent process monitoring and a compact design. Other features include the HyPlex Hybrid 60,000-psi pump; the Dynamic Waterjet taper-control cutting system with ±10 degrees of wrist motion for cutting flat materials; and the FlowPro intelligent control system.
The Mach 2 line is designed for those new to waterjet or on a limited budget seeking a reliable and easy-to-use system, the company says. The line features the JetPlex 55,000-psi direct-drive pump; the Paser ECL cutting system; and the FlowMaster intelligent control system.
