Lang Technovation’s Quick Point zero-point clamping system is designed to greatly reduce setup times in horizontal and vertical CNC milling operations. The competitively-priced system has gained a reputation for being robust, simple and reliable, the company says. It enables customers to quickly exchange fixtures and workholding with a repeat accuracy of under 0.005 mm (0.0002") and with high holding power.
While the system has seen modest changes over the last 15 years, the company has expanded the clamping system with over 20 new products including plate variations, risers and accessories along with revisions to the Quick Tower and an expansion of the company’s customization program. These changes are intended to ensure that this system is compatible with almost any machine tool and other workholding systems.
