Spanish machine tool builder Ibarmia offers a moving column machine that has an interesting table-within-a-table configuration. The main table on its ZVH machines has an integral C-axis rotary table that’s flush with the main one. Combined with the machine’s B-axis tilting head, the rotary table permits full five-axis machining. The rotary table also enables turning operations to be performed on the machine. This video demonstrates both milling and turning being performed on a ZVH machine.
