Technical Event to Highlight Technology, Skills Development
A December 14 open house at cutting tool supplier Sandvik Coromant’s Fair Lawn, New Jersey technical center will focus on developing workforce skills and improving productivity. The full-day event will feature a keynote presentation from Peter Borden, president of the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Association (AMTDA), about the current state of U.S. manufacturing and the shortage of skilled labor facing the industry.
