Grizzly Industrial’s G0982 and G0983 mill/drill combination machines are designed for small metalworking shops with limited space. Small shops can get multiple functions and complete projects in less time by adding this one machine to their workspace, the company says.
A special feature of these machines is a spindle control panel display that presents a mirror finish when the machine is off and shows backlit LED readouts when the machine is on.
Additional highlights of both machines include digital readouts (DROs) for spindle depth and speed; convenient room temperature display; coarse and fine spindle downfeed to switch between feed types; dovetail headstock column and table ways to ensure stability and precision; and front-mounted emergency-stop button for safety.
The G0983 6" × 27" Variable-Speed Mill/Drill also features longitudinal power feed that automates table movement with adjustable limit stops for a preset range of motion. The machine include a three-axis DRO that provides exact readouts for the X-, Y- and Z-axis to reduce errors during machine use.
