Hurco鈥檚 VM10U small-footprint, five-axis machining center minimizes setups, eliminates scrap by using powerful verification graphics and minimizes benchwork with smoothing algorithms that deliver quality surface finish. The machine has X-, Y- and Z-axis travels of 21", 16" and 19", respectively. It also features a maximum spindle speed of 10,000 rpm; a 20-station, swing-arm ATC; and conversational and NC programming modes. Additionally, the integrated trunnion table design is said to provide both larger part clearances and part capacities. Other U series, five-axis machines include the high speed BX30U, the VMX30U and the VTXU.
