Monaghan Tooling Group offers a comprehensive reamer reconditioning service through Diatool that restores most major brands of high-performance reamers to original OEM specifications. This service includes replacing all blades, grinding fresh bevel geometry, refurbishing the body of the reamer and optional coating of the blades if required.

Well suited for solid and expandable monoblock reamers, expandable cutting rings and replaceable head reamers. Diatool further enhances performance with advanced coatings options and blade materials including cermet, coated carbide or polycrystalline diamond (PCD) to reduce cycle times and maximize tool life. Diatool does not limit the times a reamer can be reconditioned, extending the service life of the reamer with no compromise in tool life or cutting quality. Diatool’s reamer reconditioning service is well suited for machining operations struggling with long lead-times or non-responsive tooling vendors, the company says.
