Absolute Machine Tools offers the Tongtai TNL-100TLSB subspindle, live-tool, bar-package turning center. The machine features a rigid and accessible one-piece, 90-degree, vertical bed casting. The vertical design of the saddle enables chips to drop directly to the chip conveyor. The vertical saddle also provides a true perpendicular axis for the optional Y axis.
 
The 20-hp, 4,500-rpm main spindle features an 8" chuck that can accommodate 2" bars while the 7.5-hp, 5,000-rpm, synchronous subspindle features a 6" chuck and can accommodate 1.37" bars. The main spindle features a full C axis.
 
The rigid 12-station servo turret is equipped with live tools at virtually any position. A 60-mm Base Mount Tooling (BMT) system and a 7.5-hp milling spindle motor enhance milling performance.
 
Standard features include a 4-ft. magazine bar feeder, a parts catcher, a parts conveyor, a swing-down tool setter, a chip conveyor and a Fanuc OiT-D control with full Manual Guide i conversational programming.
