听The ACC-16路32CA1 MDI control surface grinding machine features a rigid, T-frame traveling-column design for stability and precision. The machine鈥檚 wide-frame design and construction is said to virtually eliminate accuracy-robbing table overhang. Ribbed Meehanite cast iron construction is used throughout.
Chuck size is 32" 脳 16", and table load capacity (including chuck) is 2,204 lbs. Maximum clearance under the grinding wheel to table is 19.57". A 10-hp grinding wheel spindle motor can deliver speeds ranging from 500 to 2,500 rpm, and standard wheel size is 16" 脳 2" 脳 5". The grinder is equipped with a hydraulic overhead wheel dresser, automatic lubrication, an oil-fan cooler, machine splashguards and more.
Other features include a chuck or work datum MDI control system; a shift-plunge/traverse grinding cycle, in which the machine automatically shift-plunges for fast stock removal before traverse grinding for fine finish; an 8.4" color LCD display; rapid wheel head advance and retraction; ballscrew-driven cross feed and vertical feed, along with a manual pulse generator for cross feed positioning; and a dress interrupt function.
